The ACC Joins the Gathering of ASEAN Committee in Beijing

On 9 March 2024, the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) was invited to the ASEAN Committee in Beijing (ACB) Friendship Bowling Tournament in Beijing.

The event was organised under the stewardship of H.E. Ambassador U Tin Maung Swe of Myanmar to China, who currently holds the rotating chair of the ACB, in the purpose of building friendship and promoting exchanges among the diplomats of AMS Embassies in China, the officials of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ACC. 

The tournament was graced by ambassadors from Brunei, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, and senior diplomats and representatives from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Viet Nam and the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The General Affairs and Coordination Division of the ACC took part in the tournament. Ambassador U Tin Maung Swe extended his congratulations to the winners and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the participants for their support in making the tournament a resounding success. The event truly exemplifies the spirit of unity and collaboration that defines the relationship between ASEAN and China.
