“Blossoms of Spring: ASEAN-China Lady Cultural Gathering”Successfully Held in Beijing

On 5 March 2025, the ASEAN-China Centre successfully hosted the “Blossoms of Spring: ASEAN-China Lady Cultural Gathering” in Beijing. Over 60 participants attended the event, including Secretary General of the ASEAN-China Centre Shi Zhongjun and his spouse, along with Ms. Zhang Qian, Vice President of the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Ms. Song Mei, Deputy District Mayor of Xicheng District. The visit was also attended by the spouses of the Ambassadors from the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam, the DCMs of the Embassy of Malaysia and Myanmar, female diplomats as well as spouses of the diplomats from AMS Embassies. The participants had a guided tour of Baita Temple, enjoyed a traditional Chinese tea-making performance, took part in the cloisonné brooch making workshop and visited a modern art painting exhibition. All the guests spoke highly of the event with a deeper appreciation of “sharing beauty in diversity”.
