On 3 March 2025, Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) published a signed article on China Daily. In the article, Secretary General Shi elaborated on the internal and external opportunities and challenges for ASEAN-China relations under the current circumstances, emphasizing that ASEAN and China should make concerted efforts to uphold true multilateralism and open regionalism, and jointly promote regional and world peace and development so as to contribute to the building of a new type of international relations.
